Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Solutions

Excess inventory can quickly become a liability, tying up capital and valuable warehouse space. Our tailored VMI solutions are designed to help you manage surplus stock efficiently, maximising asset recovery and reducing waste. 

With TechPoint’s hassle-free VMI approach, you can recover costs while reducing the environmental impact of excess inventory. Our solutions streamline the process, freeing up resources and ensuring your inventory works for you, not against you. 

How it works: 

Step 1: We arrange shipment of your excess inventory to our ISO 9001 and AS9100/AS9120 accredited distribution facility. 

Step 2: Stock is inspected by our experienced warehouse team and all details, including (but not limited to) part numbers, condition, date codes, batch codes, pack sizes, and pack types, are recorded.  

Step 3: Components and parts are recorded on our system and searches are performed for previous sales. We contact previous customers and parts are advertised globally. 

Step 4: We carry out monthly reporting of all sales. You can request all sales information and full stock reports at any time. 

Fifth-Party Logistics (5PL)

Our 25,000 sq ft climate-controlled logistics centre is strategically located near Stansted International Airport and the Port of Felixstowe, offering seamless access to global transport hubs. We provide a wide range of storage solutions, from general pallet storage to fully robotic warehousing, tailored to meet your needs. Our facility is also equipped to handle specialised environmental requirements, including ESD-safe and low-humidity storage, ensuring the protection and quality of your goods. 

Comprehensive reverse logistics 

Partnering with you throughout your product’s lifecycle, our skilled team of IPC 7711/21 certified technicians will expertly manage returns, diagnose faults, and perform any necessary rework. If we identify recurring issues with your products, we can also recommend corrective actions and propose redesigns to enhance performance and reliability. 

Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) Management
